I was born and raised in Hamburg. After graduating from high school, I studied law. Tax law has turned out to be the cornerstone of our firm today.

I was able learn a lot about the tax system during my time as a legal clerk in the historic city of Lübeck. I worked at the tax office, but also at the tax court and the office of my mentor as well, who was both a lawyer and a tax advisor.

But I was still a trainee at this point and starting out small like most do in the earliest stage of their career. I had learned a lot but had little experience, so I completed my training at KPMG and Völker Attorneys at Law.

Life is all about standing up at the front of the room and giving presentations. Where better to learn those skills than as a lecturer at the Lehrgangswerk Haas school? Here I helped prepare a lot of gifted, amazing students to become tax advisors, and along the way I prepared myself for the next stage of my career as well.

A big decision always needs to be made at some point during the course of any career. I decided to go into business for myself and run my own firm. I’ve been rewarded with fantastic, interesting clients, as well as a great, young, reliable, and extremely competent team!
